Fortnite Chapter 5 Society Medallion guide

Association medallions a new article has arrived Fortnite as Chapter 5 Season 1. These shield-buffing items are difficult to get and are repeatedly marked on the map, whether by an image of the emblem or by a huge golden circle.

Below we explain what Society Medallions do and where you can find them Fortnite.

What are Society Medallions?

Society Medallions are boss drops that buff your shield. Max Shield Medallions will increase your maximum shield (obviously) and normal medallions will give you shield recovery. Both are extremely useful.

Medallions don't take up any inventory space because they have their own compartment in your bag (like gold does).

Where to find Society Medallions in Fortnite

You can see the medallions straight up on the map. At the start of the game, the location of all five medallions is marked on the map as follows:

To get the medallion you will need that eliminate the boss NPC holding him. However, unlike other NPCs, which are quite easy to drop and eliminate immediately, these NPCs all have respawning lackeys that will shoot at you as soon as they see you. That said, it may be easier to loot around the mentioned locations and then head inside to obtain a medallion.

Fortunately, the NPCs shoot like Star Wars Storm Troopers (which means their aim is very poor), so you don't have to worry too many about the lackeys. Focus on the boss with a decent gun and you should be able to get a medallion. Keep in mind that the boss will replenish its shield frequently, making it an annoying target.

If you see an orange or gold circle on the map, it means that a player in that area also has a medallion. You can eliminate that player to get his medallion.
