A teenage girl is in critical condition and three others are still on the run after she was allegedly stabbed in the back during a fight.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash in Fortitude Valley in central Brisbane at around 1.45pm on Monday.
Queensland Police were called to reports that a group of teenage girls were involved in a fight.
One person was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries, a police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
A crime scene has been established on Alfred Street as detectives launch an investigation.
The area was cordoned off while forensic personnel collected samples from a storm drain outside the Child Exploitation Centre.
CCTV footage from a nearby business captured the group walking past just before the incident.
“They looked like they were coming from school, they didn’t look nervous, they were walking in the same direction,” the business owner said. Courier post.

‘They walk quite relaxed, they don’t run towards me. If they walked past me, I wouldn’t think they were planning anything – they’re on their way back to the train station.
‘Just around the corner after sunset on the weekend it’s pretty bad; during the day it’s not a bad spot, this street is good.’
The other three girls are still at large.
It is thought that they all know each other.
The investigation is still ongoing.
