Fort Wayne Kroger shooter lights up a cigar before opening fire on an innocent shopper in horrifying rampage he broadcast live online

A gunman has filmed himself opening fire in a supermarket after hunting around the store looking for “someone good” but failing to hit him.

Richard Klaff, 20, broadcast the shooting live on Facebook as he prepared for and carried out the attack on a Kroger in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He began lighting a cigar in a bathroom above the Georgetown Kroger on Thursday around 6:15 p.m., claiming, “I’m going to shoot 11 people… watch.”

He cocked the gun several times before going downstairs and wandering around the supermarket looking for the right target.

‘Which one am I going to choose? Let me find someone good quickly, I’m not going to kill an old man,” he said.

Richard Klaff, 20, started by lighting a cigar in a bathroom above the Georgetown Kroger and claiming, “I’m going to shoot 11 people… look.”

Klaff was charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and booked into the Allen County Jail.

Klaff bragged about walking through a supermarket with a gun and flashed it at the camera in one of the aisles.

“I’m going out with a bang… baby watch,” he said.

Klaff eventually spotted a black woman at what appeared to be a deli or bakery and marked her for death.

“Oh yeah, I see one, I see one,” he said, then fired six bullets at her, all of which missed and no one was injured.

Klaff’s chosen target raised fears that the shooting was racially motivated, but it was not clear whether this was the case or whether she was the first black shopper he saw.

The gunman fled the store after firing as the video ended. He was arrested at another store in the area shortly after the shooting.

He was charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and booked into the Allen County Jail.

Klaff’s last post on Facebook, where his profile is called ‘Justa Badperson’, reads ‘this s**t don’t stop n***as be h*es’.

Another disturbing message showed him wearing a hoodie while holding an assault rifle, although it was not clear if it was a real firearm.

“We are deeply saddened by the incident at our E State Boulevard store in Fort Wayne,” Kroger said.

“We are cooperating with the investigation by local law enforcement authorities and we have established counseling services for our employees. Plans to reopen the store will be announced at a later date.
