Former WWE superstar Matt Riddle has admitted that he failed multiple drug tests for cocaine before his departure from the company.
Riddle was released from the company in September, about a week after he alleged an officer at JFK airport sexually assaulted him.
He recently returned to the ring, making appearances in Major League Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he was recently crowned NJPW World TV Champion.

“No, they didn’t make any of the violations public. They wanted to keep it quiet and they punished me with a fine,” Riddle said.

Riddle added that he failed two drug tests in a row after being tested for weeks, but after staying clean for a long time he thought he was in the clear before failing another random test after a night out. led to the company asking him to rehabilitate.
“I feel like my firing by WWE happened at the right time,” Riddle said.
