Former WWE Diva and Celebrity Big Brother star Eva Marie files for divorce from husband
Former WWE superstar and Celebrity Big Brother contestant Eva Marie has filed for divorce from her husband, fitness industry owner Jonathan Coyle, according to TMZ.
The couple had been married for ten years before Marie filed the papers to begin the official divorce process earlier this month.
According to filings, the couple initially split in October 2023 citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The wrestler – born Natalie Eva Marie Nelson – had two stints in the WWE: from 2013-2017 and again from 2020-2021.
She made her main roster debut in July 2013 when she became manager of The Bella Twins.
In addition to her role as a manager, she also became one of the leads on the WWE’s reality TV show, Total Divas.

Marie had two stints with the wrestling promotion while pursuing an acting career
She officially began wrestling on her own with the WWE’s developmental promotion NXT in mid-2015, before returning to the main roster in April 2016.
Later in 2016, Marie joined ‘SmackDown’. She stayed there for a year before leaving the company for the first time in August 2017.
She left to pursue an acting career – with Marie making her film debut in the box office flop ‘Inconceivable’, where she starred alongside Gina Gershon, Faye Dunaway and Nicholas Cage.
Marie has since starred in three other films, the most recent being 2023’s ‘Phoenix’.
She has also appeared on multiple reality TV shows, including ‘Celebrity Showdown’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. In the latter she competed as a house guest and finished in seventh place.
In 2020, rumors began that Marie had signed a contract to return to WWE, eventually seeing her return to the ring on an episode of ‘Raw’ in June 2021. She lasted until November, when she was part of a layoff by the company.
