A former WWE champion and current Hall of Fame wrestler has told fans he has one more match in him before he’s done for good.

On Friday, the WWE returned to India with the Superstar Spectacle at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium for the first event to be held in the country since 2017.

The show aired exclusively for the Indian audience and was headlined by John Cena, who teamed with world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins to defeat Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

The other top performer was the trio of Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens & Drew McIntyre who defeated home favorites Indus Sheer, which consists of Jinder Mahal, Rinku Singh as Veer Mahan, Saurav Gurjar as Sangha.

And the WWE brought out a former star for a promo segment who said he wanted to return to the ring one last time.

Indian superstar The Great Khali announced that he wanted to wrestle again, but the WWE has yet to choose a match for him.

He has not wrestled since the 50-Man Greatest Royal Rumble Match in April 2018 from Saudi Arabia, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021 after leaving the company in November 2014.

The Great Khali, real name Dalip Singh Rana, became WWE’s first Indian-born World Heavyweight Champion in 2007 and has also appeared in multiple box office films such as The Longest Yard, Get Smart and MacGruber.

Standing at an incredible height of 2.20 metres, Singh became an unstoppable force on his way to the championship.
