- David Nalbandian is a former world number 3 and played in the 2002 Wimbledon final
- The Argentinian reportedly filmed Araceli Torrado with a hidden camera
- His 29-year-old ex-girlfriend is now said to have filed for a restraining order
The ex-girlfriend of former Argentine tennis star David Nalbandian has filed a restraining order against him after allegedly discovering a hidden camera in her apartment.
Nalbandian was one of the sport's elite stars in the 2000s, rising to No. 3 in the world rankings in 2006 and reaching the 2002 Wimbledon final, where he lost to Lleyton Hewitt.
It was previously reported that he was accused of secretly filming his ex-girlfriend, Araceli Torrado, after they broke up.
Nalbandian is said to have installed the camera behind an air shaft in her apartment, with the 30-year-old model saying he had 'plenty of time' to have images and footage of her naked.
As reported by the Sunshe has appeared in court to hear her complaint, accusing Nalbandian, 41, of harassment and stalking.

Nalbandian, 41, dated Argentinian model Araceli Torrado for almost a year
Torrado said she feared her former partner might have nude videos or photos of her
She is also said to have demanded the seizure of the Argentinian's electronic devices.
Torrado reportedly told Argentine media: “Nalbandian filmed me and recorded me long enough to have images and footage of me naked and other private moments involving me, my family and my friends.
'I feel panic and fear about what he might have on his phone or in an application.
“We want a court order for the seizure of his electronic devices.”
After giving evidence, she also said: 'I feel relieved that this has become public and that the justice system has listened to me.'
An initial inquest was suspended because they had originally shared the house where the camera was installed. However, an appeals court ruled against Torrado swas allowed to testify after her lawyers filed a request to overturn the decision.
The camera, controlled via Wi-Fi, was discovered when her brother noticed a glow behind an airshaft in June and removed the cover – with a video reportedly showing the moment the discovery was made.
Nalbandian allegedly told his ex that he had not seen anything due to “internet problems.”

The court ruling on Araceli's requests is expected to be announced before Christmas.

After his tennis career he took up rally driving and participated once in the World Rally Championship.
