Former Ravens running back JK Dobbins will join the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year deal.

The 25-year-old spent four years in Baltimore and will now play under former Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman, who recently came to LA in the same role.

Dobbins suffered an Achilles tendon injury in the 2023 season opener against the Houston Texans, managing just eight carries for 22 yards before his campaign was cut short.

Injuries also plagued the running back earlier in his NFL career seasons. Dobbins amassed 805 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 2020 as a rookie.

But then he tore an anterior cruciate ligament in a 2021 practice game, forcing him to miss the entire season.

Dobbins returned to action in 2022 but was hampered by another knee injury that limited him to eight games. He only managed 520 yards and two touchdowns that year.

The Ravens selected Dobbins in the second round of the 2020 draft (55th overall) out of Ohio State.

Earlier this month, the free agent running back was in Kansas City visiting the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

He also flew west to visit the Chargers, who recently lost Austin Ekeler in free agency to the Washington Commanders and signed Gus Edwards from Baltimore.
