- Brazilian star Neymar has been regularly tipped for a move to England throughout his career
- Now a former Premier League star has named the one team he should join
A former Premier League star has named the top English club Neymar should join this summer.
Brazilian star Neymar ended his career in European football last summer after leaving for a staggering £78 million to Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
The 32-year-old is regarded as one of the best football talents of the past decade but, unfortunately for English fans, has never played in the Premier League.
However, that dream is not over yet as a former top division star has suggested Neymar could make a stunning move to England this summer.
In an interview courtesy of Copa America from Bet365In a message, former Arsenal star Gilberto Silva said: ‘I would like to see Neymar in the Premier League with Arsenal, that would definitely be interesting.

“It would bring a lot of joy to the fans and make the competition even more special. When you look at the Premier League, we want to see the best players in the world and it would be great to have him there.”
Silva, who played 170 times for the Gunners, concluded by saying: ‘Let’s see. It’s not impossible that he joins Arsenal, why not.’
Neymar previously admitted he admired the Gunners when he was at Barcelona in 2017, naming them one of four Premier League teams he would be open to.
The other three teams Neymar mentioned were Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
However, a transfer did not materialize at the time and instead the Brazilian winger opted to join French giants Paris Saint-Germain in a world record £198 million contract.
After playing for Barcelona in Spain for four years, Neymar spent six seasons in Paris, where he scored 118 goals and provided 77 assists in 173 games.
Although he has never played in the Premier League, the Brazilian recently tipped one of his compatriots to shine once they move to England next summer.
Chelsea announced the arrival of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras last week, although he will not move to Stamford Bridge until next year.

The 17-year-old – who will be 18 when he comes to England – will cost £28 million. This brings the total amount Chelsea spent on teenage transfers during the Todd Boehly era to £250 million.
He is widely tipped as a future star at both club and international level, including by former Brazilian captain Neymar.
Neymar was quoted in a recent interview with TNT which player from Brazil’s current generation of young stars most excited him.
Explaining his choice, Neymar added: ‘He is a great talent emerging in Brazilian football today. I think he is going to be a genius.’
