Former NFL star hinted at Fox rumors weeks ago with mystery FS1 ‘romance’ comments
Eagle-eyed fans believe a former NFL star and ex-Fox Sports employee hinted at the allegations of workplace romance and alleged sexual harassment at his former employer weeks before they came to light.
Just days ago, a bombshell lawsuit from former Fox stylist Noushin Faraji alleged that former FS1 host Skip Bayless offered her millions to have sex with him.
That lawsuit also included allegations that current “Speak” host Joy Taylor slept with co-anchors and higher-ups.
In a video posted to his YouTube account on December 27, ex-FS1 personality Marcellus Wiley hinted that something was going on at his former company.
Wiley hosted the show ‘Speak For Yourself’ from 2018 to 2022. The show was then renamed ‘Speak’ with Taylor taking over as main host.
On the show 11 days ago, Wiley talked about sportscasters’ use of unnamed sources — about the alleged feud between ESPN’s Pat McAfee and Stephen A. Smith — and decided to give an example: “I actually heard it.”

Days later, a lawsuit from a former Fox stylist was dropped, alleging (among other things) that “Speak” host Joy Taylor was involved in a love triangle with a co-host and a Fox executive
FS1 host Joy Taylor used sexual relationships with ex-NFL star co-host Emmanuel Acho (left) and network executive Charlie Dixon (right) to further her career, according to Faraji’s lawsuit
“I have more anonymous, unnamed sources[d] stories in my head right now than real stories. Really and truly. Because real stories happen in real time and are just real, they come and go,” Wiley said in the episode.
“But the ones I have to put away and store and use RAM are these anonymous, nameless sources. Like this one, [is this] BS or this is real, tell me what you think: well, there was a lineup shift at FS1 and it was motivated by romance. Everyone had to move because it got a little controversial, it got a little flirty, it got a little crazy.”
Wiley then asked his audience “real or fake” before laughing and continuing, “Why would I ever report that, right?” … They’re anonymous sources, unnamed sources, they don’t want to be known and I don’t know if it’s real.
Because think about it: if that’s true, was I in the building? No. Do I know the people? Yes. But do I know them well enough in their private moments to know this happened? No. Can I ask them? Yes. Would they deny it or accept it? Deny it.’
The lawsuit became public 10 days after Wiley released his sample anonymous story — with the former NFL star discussing it on his podcast.
Wiley specifically addressed the alleged love triangle between his former “Speak” co-host Emmanuel Acho, Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon and Taylor.
Joy Taylor (R) allegedly had a sexual relationship with Emmanuel Acho (L)
Wiley hinted on an episode of his show on Monday that the “love triangle” cost him his job at Fox
“I never heard of Charlie Dixon and Joy Taylor sleeping together,” Wiley said. ‘But if I hear that, I’m not going to lie to you. It makes a lot of things make sense. It makes a lot of sense to me.’
The allegations about Dixon and Taylor have not been confirmed. But, speaking on his YouTube show on MondayWiley brought up a hypothetical situation involving “an employee.”
His former Fox colleague Jason Whitlock claims that Wiley is actually talking about himself.
“Here’s an example of how it can get uglier,” Wiley explained. “What if there was an employee who lost their job – or their job was negatively impacted, intimidated, displaced, put in bad situations, out of the network.
“And it was because their boss allegedly slept with another employee and their co-host slept with the same employee?” he said.
‘And then that same employee – coincidentally – just replaces that person. It’s an example, sure, but imagine a love triangle child where the boss and a co-host slept with the same person, who ends up replacing that person.”
Wiley, who spent time with the Bills, Chargers, Cowboys and Jaguars, insists he had heard rumors of Acho and Taylor “sleeping together multiple times, as recently as a week or two.”
He also speculated that Acho’s departure from Speak — he now co-hosts “The Facility” — was due to their relationship going “sour.”
Taylor (alongside Paul Pierce) has continued to host ‘Speak’ following the release of the lawsuit
Wiley (L) previously presented ‘Speak For Yourself’ with Acho (R) before being replaced by Taylor
Neither Acho nor Taylor have responded to the allegations.
“Part of the reason it was suggested that they do a show together is because of the allegations in the lawsuit that they slept together and conspired to make that happen,” he said.
‘Conspiracy with Charlie, conspiracy with Emmanuel Acho, ‘let’s make this work’. What’s even crazier is how they broke up…why did they go to different shows, they say? The relationship was on the rocks.’
Taylor has not been taken off air since the lawsuit was dropped, while the host appeared on television on Tuesday.
