Former NFL star and Amazon Prime analyst Richard Sherman has been arrested for driving under the influence.
Seattle’s Fox 13 reported the arrest before it was confirmed by the Washington State Patrol, and King County Jail records show he was booked at 7:51 a.m. Saturday.
Sherman, a cornerback, won the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014 and was a five-time Pro Bowl selection.
He also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers during 11 seasons in the NFL.
Sherman worked on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football broadcast last season.

Washington State Patrol said the incident remains under investigation and more details will not be available until the District Attorney’s Office files the case.
In March 2022, Sherman pleaded guilty to two counts of drunken driving and domestic violence in the summer of 2021, as part of a deal that spared him further prison time.
Sherman was arrested after police said he crashed his SUV in a construction zone and tried to break into his in-laws’ home in suburban Seattle, where his wife, Ashley, and their children were staying.
His father-in-law, Raymond Moss, told officers he armed himself with a gun and fired pepper spray at Sherman to protect his family. Ashley later called 911.

Sherman, who said he was “deeply remorseful” after the arrest, pleaded guilty to two felonies, first-degree negligent driving and second-degree criminal trespass.
He also admitted speeding in a road construction area.
Sherman, 33, became a Seattle sports legend for seven seasons with the Seahawks. The cornerback was a star in their run to a Super Bowl victory in 2014, making a game-saving play to deflect a pass in the NFC championship game against the 49ers.
He is also the founder of the Carpet Coverage Foundation, a charity that provides low-income students with school supplies and clothing.
