Veteran NFL kicker and ‘NFL on CBS’ analyst Jay Feely voices his support for Donald Trump’s bid for the White House.
“If you look at Donald Trump and you do it objectively,” Feely told OutKick’s Dan Dakich“And if you look at his three or four years in office, really three years before COVID, and you compare every objective measure to four years of the Biden-Harris administration, and you talk about the things that matter to people at home, you talk about the economy, you talk about safety, you talk about shelter, their home, the border, the economy, the things that matter to people at home, by every objective measure Donald Trump did a better job than the Biden-Harris administration.”
Feely once played golf with Trump in 2020, calling it an “honor” at the time, but he’s not supporting the Republican nominee because of a personal relationship. Instead, the retired Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals player insists Trump’s policy proposals elevate him above the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket.
Most importantly, Feely believes he can help Trump reclaim Arizona, where the 48-year-old Florida native has lived with his wife since his Cardinals days. Trump lost Arizona to Biden by 10,457 votes in 2020, a state Republicans had won in 15 of the previous 16 presidential elections.
Four years earlier, Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in Arizona by 91,234 votes.

Feely once played golf with Trump in 2020 and called it an ‘honor’
The difference, according to Feely, is that Republicans were better represented in the 2016 elections, which is why he is calling on his party members to once again commit to their vote in 2024.
“There are over 200,000 registered Republicans in Arizona who did not vote in the last presidential election,” said Feely, a married father of five. “If half of those people vote … only half of the registered Republicans in Arizona, [Trump] wins the state of Arizona.
“It’s also true for every one of those swing states,” Feely continued. “So people who are registered Republicans just have to vote for Donald Trump. I don’t know how you wouldn’t, because the two parties have never been so far apart.”
Feely also calls for a more civilized political debate in the country, though he does not mention the recent assassination attempts on Trump.
Instead, the CBS announcer indicated that he wanted people to talk about policy issues in public without being influenced by their beliefs.
“I think we should be able to talk about politics and who we like without people throwing rocks, without saying, ‘Oh, we’re going to cancel somebody,'” Feely said. “If you’re a liberal and you believe in a certain politician, you should be able to talk about that, express your beliefs. If you like Trump, you should be able to express your beliefs.
‘Hopefully we can get back to that someday.’
