Former Married At First Sight couple Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith completely cut ties after he urged his followers to ‘get rid of’ people who ‘don’t respect your time’
Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith have cut ties after promising to remain good friends following their split on Married At First Sight Australia.
The duo, who failed to find romance with each other in the 2024 series, seemed as close as ever when they both decided to leave the show as friends.
But despite being in regular contact and occasionally spending time together, the pair have quietly unfollowed each other on Instagram.
They are also not tagged in the photos they share together on their respective accounts, suggesting they may have blocked each other as well.
Neither has spoken directly about the apparent fallout, but when a fan asked Lucinda, 43, on Wednesday if they were still speaking, she suggested they were still friendly.

“Doors and arms are always open for Tim,” the celebrant said in response to the follower in her comment.
Meanwhile, Tim, 51, shared a video on his TikTok page on Sunday, urging his own fans to cut ties with people who don’t ‘respect’ their time.
“As I was going about my day yesterday, I was thinking about time and how valuable time is,” he said in his lengthy video.
“If people don’t respect your time – and respect is a strong word – if they don’t value or respect the time you give people, then take them out,” he continued.

“We’re just giving it away for free, and if you don’t respect and appreciate it, get rid of them.”
He further told his followers not to “let anyone waste even one minute of your life and time because if they don’t respect it, they don’t deserve it.”
