Former Manchester City strikers Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez celebrated as they commented on Rodri’s winning goal against Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
Both players helped City move up a level after taking over Abu Dhabi in 2008, with Tevez joining the club in 2009 and Agüero arriving in 2011.
The former Argentina internationals were present at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium as City managed to achieve their main goal of winning the Champions League.
Aguero and Tevez expressed their delight at Rodri’s goal, which was scored in the 68th minute.
City’s win saw them complete the treble; matching Manchester United’s remarkable performance of the 1998–99 season.

Agüero cemented his place in City history with his dramatic title-winning goal against QPR in 2012 as his side won the league for the first time since 1968.
He went on to win 15 trophies with the club before leaving in 2021 and is City’s all-time top goalscorer with 260 goals.
Tevez, meanwhile, scored 73 goals in 148 appearances for City prior to his departure in 2013.
After the Champions League final, Aguero spoke to BT Sport and former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand joked that he didn’t want to see the striker.
Ferdinand said, “I don’t even want to be here right now, I have to be honest with you.
“This man broke my heart, man, broke my heart. I can’t even look at him now.’

Aguero then asked if Ferdinand was okay, before the former England international reached out and jokingly told the Argentine: “I’ll strangle you” as he put his hand around his neck.
Aguero responded by saying “Sorry, Bro,” while fellow pundits Mario Balotelli, Cesc Fabregas and Joleon Lescott laughed along at Ferdinand’s actions.
