Wayne Rooney is reportedly in talks with KSI’s Misfits Boxing brand about joining a big-money fight.

The ex-Manchester United striker is considering donning his gloves for a one-off fight.

Rooney has been out of work since being sacked by Birmingham City on January 2, after just 15 games in charge and showing poor form.

And he could be ready for another painful encounter, this time of a more literal variety, as reported by the Daily star and the Daily mirror.
