A former Manchester United star has posted a TikTok showing him looking like a completely different man compared to his playing time.

He shared a video of him scoring his first professional goal against Bradford with a classy left-footed effort into the bottom corner.

It was one of only two goals he scored for Manchester United in four years, a spell that saw him pick up a Premier League winners’ medal in 2001.

The retired player commented on the goal in the video, which came after a well-timed through ball from David Beckham.

It was posted on an account only started two days ago, on which the ex-United star discusses his time as a player.

Former Manchester United star Luke Chadwick has started a TikTok account

The player in question, retired midfielder Luke Chadwick, is unrecognizable, with the 42-year-old now bald and sporting a beard that looked a long way off as a fresh face at United.

Discussing his first United goal, he said in the video: “Becks with the through ball, Chadders with the finish, what a combination.

“I struggled there on the old left foot but found the bottom corner, perfect times run, good first touch, brilliant second touch. Nice balls from Becks.’

The 42-year-old ended his playing career at Cambridge United in 2015 after helping them in the Football League

Chadwick struggled to break into United’s first team, and after a series of loan spells, he left the club to join West Ham in the Championship in 2004.

He became something of an EFL stalwart, making over 400 appearances between the Championship and League Two before retiring from Cambridge United in 2015.

The midfielder returned to Old Trafford with Cambridge for an FA Cup tie in his final season and received a standing ovation from both sets of fans.

Chadwick will be best remembered by MK Dons fans as he made over 200 appearances for the club and was named their player of the season twice.
