A former Manchester United defender’s contract with Saudi club Al-Nassr has been terminated after just 12 months at the club.
The Saudi Pro League team, which features United legend Cristiano Ronaldo, have just started the new season and will be hoping to improve on their second-place finish from last year.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Alex Telles has decided by mutual consent to terminate his contract and take on a new challenge after just two games into the season.
The Brazilian defender only joined Al-Nassr last summer for £4million but has reportedly fallen out of favour with manager Luis Castro.
Telles played 38 games in his one year in Saudi Arabia, scoring three times in all competitions for the club.

The full-back’s partnership with his former United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to an end
The 31-year-old leaves behind his former team-mate Ronaldo, with whom he played during the 2021-2022 season.
He joined Carrington in 2020 and made 50 appearances for the club in two years.
Telles only managed to score once for the Red Devils, with a beautiful volley in the 2-1 Champions League victory over Villarreal in September 2021.
However, he played his last season in red on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, with whom he won the Europa League.
He was then sent to Saudi Arabia by Erik ten Hag, who preferred the likes of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, both currently injured, at left-back.

But with his contract at Al Nassr still running for a year, it seems that Telles is now looking for a new club.
Reports suggest the Brazilian defender has received offers but has yet to make a decision on his future.
