Free agent David de Gea is reportedly being offered the chance to return to Spain, with a LaLiga club lining up a move for him.

De Gea has been without a club since the end of June after being released by Manchester United after failing to agree new terms at Old Trafford.

Since leaving United, where he spent 12 years of his career, De Gea has been linked with big-money moves to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

None of these moves materialized and now De Gea has reportedly been given another chance to return to Spain to continue playing in the first team.

That’s because Real Betis have plans to sign the 32-year-old Fichajes.

The report also claims that Valencia are also considering an approach for the United ace, who has trained alone since leaving United.

It is also claimed by Fichajes that De Gea is considering an offer to return to his home country to play in the Spanish top flight.

The Spanish stopper won the Premier League’s Golden Glove in the 2022-2023 season after a great season between the sticks for the Red Devils.

In total, De Gea kept an impressive 17 clean sheets in the English top flight, but that was not enough to earn him a contract extension. The club refused to extend his stay for an optional twelve months.

De Gea’s departure paved the way for the arrival of Andre Onana to United from Inter Milan, who has since taken the number 1 spot in the side.
