Sergio Agüero and his girlfriend Sofi Calzetti have welcomed their first child: they have become parents of a girl named Olivia.
It is Agüero’s second child. The legendary striker already has a 15-year-old son named Benjamin from a previous relationship with Diego Maradona’s daughter.
The 36-year-old and his model partner Calzetti announced in a touching social media post in March that they were expecting a child.
On Friday evening they announced on Instagram that their daughter was born.
In a joint post on Instagram, they wrote: ‘September 13, 2024. Welcome Olivia! Words can’t express our happiness.’

David de Gea, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Patrick Kluivert congratulated the pair on their great news, as did Salt Bae.
Benjamin Agüero also shared some heartwarming photos of his father holding his little daughter.
Benjamin is the grandson of Argentine star player Maradona. His father was previously in a relationship with Gianinna Maradona.
His godfather is also Lionel Messi and he hopes to follow in his family’s footsteps. He currently plays at youth level for Independiente.

His father had to retire from football in 2021 at the age of 33 due to heart problems.
Aguero is regarded as one of the best strikers in Premier League history, having scored 184 goals in the top flight and won the title five times.
