Liverpool flop Alberto Aquilani wins his FIFTH trophy in his third year as manager, more than he’s won in his ENTIRE playing career, after his Fiorentina U19 team beat Inter Milan to lift the Supercopa Primavera

  • Alberto Aquilani struggled to make a big impact as a player at Liverpool
  • The former midfielder won four trophies during his playing days in Italy and Portugal
  • But now he has won his fifth trophy in just three years as youth coach in Italy.

Former Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani has bagged five trophies in the three years since he took charge of Fiorentina’s Under-19s.

Aquilani took over in July 2020 and it took just a month for him to claim his first piece of silver in the form of the Tim Cup.

Two more followed in addition to a Spring Super Cup and he has already won a fifth.
