Sol Campbell is 'being sued for £810,000' after he 'withdrew from the purchase of a £3.85 million flat' in London, according to reports The sun.

The outlet claims the former England captain and his partner, Fiona, had made 'a ten per cent deposit of £387,500' on the apartment reportedly located in Cadogan Square, in Knightsbridge.

The owner of the property, Lady Jadranka Beresford-Peirse, had reportedly said that the couple had 'signed a contract to purchase the flat in 2021' but had not paid the outstanding balance.

According to The Sun, she has now filed papers in the High Court claiming losses of more than £800,000.

The news channel states that Lady Jadranka has “accused them of breach of contract after they failed to pay the outstanding balance of the apartment.”

She is also said to be 'seeking an order for the couple to purchase the flat and pay her damages'.
