The 58-year-old former Coronation Stress actress, who played Sunita Alahan, revealed in her latest social media post that she is embracing her age.

Shobna excitedly shared that she is ‘so happy’ with her new look, after some fans told her to ‘dye it back’ to brown.

She said she now feels “more comfortable” since growing her long locks gray after years of dyeing her hair brown.

The soap star wrote: ‘Wiser? Definitely older! And very silver – turning grey.’

‘So many people said I should dye it back to the dark brown hair I had, ‘I look old, why do I succumb to the idea of ​​an old lady, it’s not attractive, etc. etc.’

‘But times are changing, and I’m so happy with what happened and I feel so comfortable now.

‘I don’t know, but I think my head feels better without the bi-weekly root dye… and that’s a positive, no harsh chemicals, no color protectant shampoo, just like when I was younger… but anyway, I thought I’d share.’

Although Shobna said fans were negative about her new haircut, many responded to the comments on her latest post, saying she looked “gorgeous” and that they “wished they had the courage to do it too.”
