Former Clinton aide says Biden’s classified files debacle will “knock him out of the race” for the White House in 2024 because there will be documents about his son Hunter’s “major bribery scandal” in Ukraine

Bill Clinton’s former adviser predicted on Sunday that the debacle of the classified files entraping President Joe Biden will “knock” the Democrat “out of the race” by 2024.

“That will be the absolute end for Biden,” said Dick Morris, who worked with Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas and during his first term in the White House.

Up to 30 documents bearing classified marks were recovered from Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware and a Washington, D.C. think tank he once used as an office.

It came months after a high-profile raid on the home of Donald Trump, a president whom Morris also advised, recovered dozens of top-secret files from his Mar-a-Lago property in Florida.

And amid the escalating Biden debacle, it emerged that classified documents were also found this month at the home of former Trump Vice President Mike Pence.

“The issue here is not whether everyone took classified documents home,” Morris told John Catsimatidis of the Cats Roundtable on WABC radio.

Dick Morris (pictured in 1998) was an adviser to Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

He claimed that Biden’s situation was highlighted because some of the documents recovered from his private rooms contained “classified information about US policy toward Ukraine.”

While Biden was vice president – a time from which several of the documents date – he had spearheaded anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine. Meanwhile, his daughter served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company for several years starting in 2014.

Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings are the subject of investigations by Congress and the Justice Department, but the president himself has not been implicated in any wrongdoing.

But Morris claimed Sunday that the classified Biden documents were part of a “major bribery scandal” involving his son and his son’s businesses in Ukraine.

“It will remove Biden from the race,” he said.

The former White House adviser also shared the results of a poll conducted with veteran pollster John McLaughlin that reportedly shows Biden leading the field of potential 2024 Democratic nominees, but with only 25 percent support.

‘When Biden as president can’t get more than 25 per cent of the vote in his own party’s primary, that’s close to death. He’s incredibly vulnerable,” Morris said.

He asserted that Biden is vulnerable as the 2024 Democratic candidate and that the classified files debacle only increases that

Even as the series of classified document disclosures became something of a public relations crisis for Biden, his lawyers have continued to point out that the president’s approach to handling secret files is vastly different from his predecessor’s.

Biden’s lawyers turned documents over to the Justice Department as soon as they were found and vowed to cooperate with investigators every step of the way, including facilitating a recent search by federal officials who found additional documents recovered from Biden’s home. Biden last weekend.

Trump, by contrast, has been accused of misleading federal investigators and National Archives officials by delaying the recovery of classified documents from his Florida mansion for many months.

The alleged obfuscation was the driving force behind the FBI executing a search warrant in Mar-a-Lago in the early hours of August 8.

However, a new NBC poll on Sunday suggests that Americans are just as upset with Biden as they are with Trump.

Exactly 67 percent of those polled said it was “concerning” on some level that classified documents were found in the homes of both leaders.
