Former Bachelorette and Gogglebox Star Angie Kent Details Her Surprising And ‘Rewarding’ New TV Gig
Bachelorette Angie Kent has taken on a new role as the ‘upcycle queen’ in season 3 of the lifestyle show Space Invaders which will premiere April 4 on 9Now.
As a one-time hoarder, Angie says she can identify with “recycling,” which is the practice of creatively repurposing unwanted or seemingly useless household items.
The 32-year-old reality star will make her show debut as a co-host with cleaning guru Peter Walsh and home renovator Cherie Barber.

angie said nine entertainment on Saturday that he enjoyed the career change, revealing that he started his own ‘recycling’ after recently moving into an older property.
“I go into every house and find a prized possession or item that doesn’t seem to get much use, figure out the value, and then bring it back to life,” Angie said of her role on the show.
“We spend a week with these people, sometimes even less, and seeing them break out of their routine and transform into new people is very rewarding.”
Angie told Nine Entertainment on Saturday that she enjoyed the career change, revealing that she started her own ‘recycling’ after recently moving into an older property.
In the meantime, she picked up a few tricks from co-host Peter Walsh on the best way to purge your wardrobe of the clothes that were left out.
‘My favorite piece of advice from Peter is that if you haven’t used it in the last year, you don’t need it. Just give it to someone who’s going to use it,’ Angie advised.
The Gogglebox favorite said that fans can expect to see Space Invaders grounded this season.
“I watched this show and I loved it and now I’m like one of the audience members at home getting involved.” she said.

Meanwhile, Angie revealed last year that she found romance while working on the show.
During an episode of her two girls one pod podcast in September, Angie told listeners that she went on a date with one of the Space Invaders cameramen.
Angie told her co-host, Yvie Jones, that she was nervous about mixing work and pleasure.
Angie wrapped up the discussion by revealing that she has put out a strict warning about her budding new romance.
“I was like, ‘We can hang out, but let’s not get sexual until after filming is over,'” she said.
The Gogglebox favorite said that fans can expect to see Space Invaders grounded this season.
