Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith has described Takehiro Tomiyasu’s sending off against Crystal Palace as ‘really hard’.
The Japan international was sent off for two bookable offenses during Arsenal’s clash with Crystal Palace, the first following a yellow card for wasting time – holding the ball for just eight seconds.
This comes after Martin Odegaard gave his side the lead after Eddie Nketiah won a penalty after passing Sam Johnstone.
“I’m not wearing my Arsenal colors here, but to be sent off for that, I know it’s his second yellow, it just seems really harsh.”
