A number of clubs have shared tributes after former Arsenal and Dundee striker Fabian Caballero died of a reported heart attack while playing indoor football at the age of 46.

Caballero arrived in north London in 1998 on loan from Cerro Porteno during Arsene Wenger’s third season with the Gunners.

During his only season at the club, Caballero played mainly for the club’s reserve side, making three appearances in all competitions for the first team.

Although his time at Highbury would prove short-lived, Caballero would become a cult favorite with Dundee in the Scottish Premier League.

In five seasons at Dens Park he made a total of 142 appearances, scoring 27 goals and playing in the side that reached the Scottish Cup final in the 2002–03 season.
