Former Arizona Cardinals executive Bill Bidwell Jr. was seen covered in blood after he claimed his wife was unhappy about having a carpet laid and allegedly beat him up – hitting him more than a hundred times – and threw a glass over his head.

Battered and bloodied, he told one of the officers that his wife, Nicole, is in “a very bad mood” when the officer asked what happened.

Video obtained by TMZ Sports shows Bidwell’s face blurring as the officer places a latex glove over his hand to soothe his injuries.

As Bidwill sat in the back of a patrol car, he lifted a towel to his face to help clean up the blood as he regained his composure and spoke to police.

He said his wife was upset because he wasn’t home when the carpet installers apparently came home earlier in the day.

While pouring himself a drink, he said his wife “snapped” and claimed she “slapped him with her hands about a hundred times” … before picking up his cup and smashing it with it, causing it to shatter, That reports TMZ.

He told police he punched his wife’s arms to defend himself before he could escape and call 911.

During the June 9 ordeal, Bidwill’s wife was seen lying face down on the hood of one of her vehicles parked in her driveway before being handcuffed by an officer.

It was unclear why she was there, but her head was turned to one side and her eyes appeared closed.

Bidwill Jr served as vice president of the NFL team under his father’s leadership. But it appears he left the Cardinals’ front office when his father Bill Sr. died in 2019.

For a time, Bill Jr. helped. in covering ownership responsibilities, but his brother Michael now owns the team and Bill Jr. is no longer involved.

The football team has been part of the family business since 1932. Bill Sr. was co-owner of the team with his brother Charles Jr. for ten seasons from 1962. and was the sole owner from 1972 until his death in 2019.
