Former AFL star Michael Rischitelli has decided to sell his Brisbane pad after 17 years.

The 37-year-old bought the three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-storey cottage as his first home in 2007 for $515,000, three years after making his debut with the Brisbane Lions. The courier post.

The cozy property was built in 1960 and located in Cannon Hill, 10 km from the CBD. There is no price list stated.

But Rischitelli can hope for a solid payday, since the average home price in the area is $1.1 million.

The football champion, who also played for the Gold Coast Suns, renovated the house shortly after buying it.

It has now been a rental property for seven years.

Melbourne-born Rischitelli made his debut with the Brisbane Lions in 2004 at the age of 18.

He left Brisbane for the Gold Coast Suns Football Club in 2011.

Rischitelli retired in 2019 after playing a total of 243 games in the AFL.
