Sharni rose to fame in Channel Seven’s soap opera Home and Away, first appearing as supporting characters in 2001 and 2003.

She then landed a regular role, starring as Cassie Turner from 2005 to 2008.

The brunette actress was just 22 years old when she made her debut on the long-running drama.

There have been rumors of a return to Summer Bay for a while now, but Sharni has not confirmed any news.

In 2010, Sharni got her first big break in Hollywood with the hugely successful feature film Step Up 3D.

Sharni, who was on ‘team hero’, was the seventh contestant to start on day 17 of Australian Survivor.

Viewers turned on “heroes” Benjamin Law and Paige Donald after they eliminated Sharni and she was branded a “snake” at tribal council.

After being voted off the island, Sharni criticized Ben’s gameplay in her elimination confessional.

“I’m a little shocked at the way the tribal council has evolved. Ben is a very smart guy, and no matter what he said, he had to save his own life tonight,” she said.

“It’s not the way I would be proud to play the game… but good luck to him.”

Outraged viewers flooded social media after the episode aired to condemn both Ben and Paige.
