Two men have been charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping, torture and assault of a woman at gunpoint.
The dramatic incident occurred after police were called to a house in Forest Lake in Brisbane’s south about 2.15pm on Friday following reports of a serious assault.
A Doolandella woman, 43, was found inside the property suffering from multiple non-life-threatening injuries.
She was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Within hours, police arrested four men at a property in Stafford Heights.
Two men – identified as Erick Barry Rock and Patriss Tawor after both cases came up in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday – have been charged with multiple offences, including kidnapping, extortion, torture, assault occasioning actual bodily harm during armed robbery and armed robbery .
The two other men were released without charges being filed.

Police will allege a group of men attacked the woman at a property in Cassowary Street in Doolandella before forcing her into a car and driving to Forest Lake.
It is understood the men were wearing black balaclavas to cover their faces.
A Forest Lake resident told the Courier Mail they heard a woman’s “blood-curdling screams” before multiple gunshots were fired.
“I just heard the bang, bang, bang… three or four gunshots,” the neighbor said.

Neighbor Paul Spence also said he saw a group of four men in a white Audi drive up to the house before walking to the front door of the property.
He claims he saw a man with a woman, his hand wrapped around her neck as he led her into the house.
They are currently assisting the police with investigations.
Three separate crime scenes have been declared at each of the properties and a vehicle has been seized for forensic examination.
