Penrith star Taylan May is reportedly being investigated by his club after posting a video that appears to show him driving a car driving almost double the speed limit in a residential area.
May’s video appears to show him in a powerful luxury Audi car driving within a built-up area, with the speedometer clearly reading 60mph.
In the footage, the driver slams on the brakes as the vehicle approaches a crosswalk and one of the passengers says, “Holy moly, bro!”
A link to Sydney-based car rental company Ruthless Rentals was added to the footage, with distinctive tattoos on the driver’s left arm proving May was not behind the wheel.
The Instagram accounts for both May and Ruthless Rentals had been deleted at the time of writing.

Under NSW law, a speed limit of 50km/h applies to all built-up areas in the state unless a lower limit is imposed in the area, for example because there is a school nearby.
Ny Breaking Australia does not accuse May of any wrongdoing.
The NRL Integrity Unit is aware of the video and the Panthers club is investigating, it said News Corp.
Last week May launched a weekly video blog on YouTubegiving his fans a glimpse into his life on and off the field.
However, the Penrith center soon posted an Instagram video announcing he was ‘putting it on hold’ so he can ‘focus on my family’.
Last week, May made headlines when he revealed a shocking new tattoo to his followers on the social media platform.
He had his last name inked in large letters on the back of his neck and posted photos and images of himself preparing to have the design made, then displaying it in a car.
The Panthers star has no shortage of eye-catching ink, with the word “pain” tattooed under his right eye, a broken heart under his left eye and “Meliodas” – the name of an anime character – written right on his chest.

“I’m very impulsive and I always wanted tattoos on my face because I wanted to see how quickly people change and judge me,” he said last year.
‘People with facial tattoos are automatically treated as if they want to be cool or that they are scary.
‘I feel like deep down I was looking for help at that moment, so I put ‘pain’ on my face.
“I get asked about it and I try to avoid the question, but it was where I was.
‘Many people judge too quickly. Sometimes I portray myself that way, but if you met me and talked to me, I’d like to think I’m completely different.’
May made headlines earlier this year when he left Broncos star Reece Walsh with a facial fracture in a controversial hit.
In the opening minutes of Penrith’s 34-12 win in round three, May ran out of the defensive line and hit Walsh just after the No. 1 Broncos had passed the ball, with the pair clashing heads.
Walsh fell to the turf bleeding from his face and, despite passing his head injury assessment, was unable to continue playing.
