Geelong young gun Ollie Henry will miss the next two matches after suffering a horrific injury in Friday’s night defeat to Richmond.
The striker tore his testicle after colliding with a Tigers player late in the reigning premiers’ 24-point loss at the MCG.
The torn has since been addressed, but Henry will be sidelined for the next two weeks.
“Ollie Henry had a tear in the testicle from a collision late in the game,” said Geelong football boss Simon Lloyd.
“Basically, after the game he reported it to the club medics and he got it fixed so he will miss a few weeks.”

Henry’s place in the squad for Saturday night’s game against Fremantle at Optus Stadium could be taken by his older brother Jack, who has recovered from a broken foot.
All-Australian Tyson Stengle is also set to return after recovering from a broken arm, while Brad Close is expected to return to the team after serving a one-game suspension.
Henry’s injury is not uncommon in contact sports such as footy and rugby league.
Former Geelong assistant coach James Kelly underwent surgery for a ruptured testicle in 2015, while North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson and Collingwood gun Steele Sidebottom suffered the same injury in 2019.
Meanwhile, Penrith star Spencer Leniu tore his testicle in training last Wednesday after tackling teammate Eddie Blacker.
The Panthers officially ruled the 22-year-old out of the game against the Broncos on Thursday night, closing the door on any lingering hopes of Leniu playing for New South Wales in Origin I on May 31.

“At this point there’s no way he’ll be suitable for Origin, the doctors just don’t want to release him,” Panthers head physio Pete Green told the The Sydney Morning Herald.
“We’re racing against time to get him ready for the Dragons game after our bye in round 14. So the urologist will never release him before.
“He still has light duties in the gym, he will run for the first time on Thursday, then we will introduce some more intensive running skills next week.
“We still have to be careful about gym work that involves abdominal pressure — you can’t do that too early.”
