Michaela Caione, the new wife of Fremantle Dockers AFL star Corey Wagner, has described their wedding as 'the most perfect day', despite their marriage being hit by a series of dramas – including a shocking moment during the ceremony.
The 26-year-old proposed to his sweetheart in Bali in June 2022, so the couple recently headed back to the Indonesian island to tie the knot with friends and family – and the event was action-packed, to say the least.
The ceremony, held at the exclusive Sanctuary resort, saw Caione wear a beautiful dress with a long train and veil, complete with what appeared to be pearls woven into it, before changing into a white mini dress for the very enthusiastic celebrations after she had exchanged their vows.

Caione was thrilled with her wedding despite heavy rain and a fainting guest – but the real shock came during the ceremony
And while the photos and videos on the couple's Instagram accounts paint a beautiful picture, there was plenty of drama outside the lens.
“There are simply no words to describe this day,” Caione wrote on Instagram.
'Married my best friend for the most special people in the world, in the most special place.
'Even with the torrential rain, a guest fainting, a bridesmaid spitting up mid-ceremony and missing guests, it all added to the story of the most perfect day!'
Her Instagram Story featured a series of videos that proved the shock illness during their wedding didn't cloud the day.
The footage shows Wagner following her across the dance floor, both with drinks in hand, as they put on a show for their guests to the tune of the B-52's Love Shack after their marriage was made official.

Their family and friends sang a rendition of Nickelback's hit How You Remind Me and one of the guests is seen enjoying a drink in a resort pool after jumping in while still fully clothed from the ceremony.
Fremantle marked the occasion on Monday with a post on Big congratulations to Corey and Michaela!'
When Wagner proposed, his wife posted a video to Instagram capturing the moment he popped the question, followed by her crying with joy as she video-called friends to tell them the good news.
'To my fiancé: YES! In this life and the next, I love you. Mrs. Wagner is coming soon,” she wrote in the post, which was loved by Wagner's ex-teammate Christian Petracca.
Wagner will look to build on the nine games he played for the Dockers last season as he trains in preparation for the club's 2024 season.
Wagner is looking forward to a big 2024 with the Fremantle Dockers after making his debut for the club in round five last year
After making his AFL debut for North Melbourne in Round 13 of the 2016 season, he was delisted at the end of 2017, but returned and played 11 games for Melbourne in 2019 and 2020.
Fremantle took him with pick 57 in the 2022 AFL Draft after reviving his career when he was moved to halfback for Port Melbourne in the VFL, and he was shocked to make his first start for the side in round five last season club got.
“Honestly, I didn't really expect to get in, so I was a little confused and trying to do everything too well and putting a little too much pressure on myself,” Wagner explained.
“I got nipped a few times and got rattled early on, but the more football you play throughout the year the more confident you become with your kicking and I just kept going for my kicking after those mistakes.”
