NRL reporter Lara Pitt has shown her professional confidence as she faced a fan shouting the F-bomb during a live cross after the Roosters’ 13-12 win over the Sharks.

Pitt reported live as disappointed Sharks fans left PointsBet Stadium – and some couldn’t help it when they saw the camera.

The Fox Sports presenter was speaking when a fan stopped and shouted: ‘f**k the Roosters, f**k the Roosters’ as he turned off the camera.

Instead of ignoring the unruly supporter, Pitt turned on the man during the live TV moment.

“Okay, that’s enough, buddy,” she told him, and the man continued walking.

Seconds later, another group of rowdy fans appeared to disrupt the broadcast.

“Anything can happen here, but I’m going to get through it,” Pitt said.

As fans became more unruly, host Yvonne Sampson decided to go further.

“Lara, you did a great job and I think we should wave to the locals, but excellent update, thank you,” Sampson said.

“Oh damn, I had so much more to say,” Pitt laughed.

As fans appeared to have moved on, Sampson added: “Do it now, quick.”

Pitt tried to carry on but the footy fans were relentless, shouting ‘Hello Mum’, ‘I love you Mum’ and ‘Up the Knights’.

Pitt replied: “Yes, going to Newcastle tomorrow,” before returning to the studio.

Footy fans watching the chaotic broadcast were quick to praise the reporter’s class

“I think I need to wrap it up because I don’t know what’s going to happen here,” she said.

Fans watching at home were quick to post on social media about Pitt’s calmness in a difficult situation.

“Good job @LaraPitt_ great job there after the game. Kept your composure under difficult circumstances,” said one.

“Absolute class from @LaraPitt_ in front of some completely boorish Sharks ‘fans’,” said another.

“Lara Pitt is very professional and a very good sports journalist,” said a third.
