There are still three quarters to go, but some Sydney Swans fans fear another Grand Final flogging after an opening term to forget at the MCG.
The Cats ran to a five-goal lead in a blistering start to the game for Chris Scott’s side, who wrote the Swans into their own defensive 50 for most of the first quarter on Saturday afternoon.
The dominant manner of Geelong’s performance left Swans fans shocked, with some already writing off their chances of a comeback.

Meanwhile, Collingwood star Mason Cox shared his view, with the big man citing forward Tom Hawkins’ success in the ruck as a cause for concern for Sydney.
“The most embarrassing thing as a ruck is to be pushed under in the F50 and they kick a goal. Hawkins has done that twice now.’
