A Queensland NRL and State of Origin star described as ‘high-profile’ has been accused of rape, according to reports.
9News Queensland reports the allegations were made to police as officers attended the player’s home as the investigation began.
A woman subsequently made a formal complaint to police about the player, who is currently contracted to a Queensland NRL club.
The latest bombshell comes ahead of the NRL’s Magic Round extravaganza in Brisbane, with all matches being played in the city.
The games are sold out.
