Fans online have branded Aaron Ramsey ‘boring’ after the Cardiff City star made his debut as a pundit on Saturday evening.
The former Arsenal star took center stage on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football programme, which featured the evening match between Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
It was a change in contrast for Ramsey, who starred in the Championship for Cardiff after securing a move to his boyhood club in 2023.
Ahead of the match – which saw Forest triumph 1-0 – Ramsey was on hand to provide some analysis, but it did not go down well with supporters online.
“I’d rather watch the paint dry than listen to Aaron Ramsey. What a boring human being,” one fan wrote cheekily.

In a tongue-in-cheek comment, another user said: “Can someone calm Aaron Ramsey down please.”
“Don’t think science is his thing,” said one user as he brutally slammed his debut with the broadcasting giants.
In a similar theme to previous comments, another user said, “Watching the pre-game stuff for MNF Aaron Ramsey is like watching paint dry.”
Meanwhile, one user pointed out Jamie Carragher’s involvement in Ramsey’s debut as they wrote: ‘Jamie Carragher keeps looking at Aaron Ramsey like, come on son, say something.’
Elsewhere on the show, Carragher took the opportunity to analyze one of Ramsey’s former teams, Arsenal, and their red card woes this year.

Sky Sports pundit Carragher insisted Arsenal ‘can do more’ despite losing a player, insisting ‘big teams have still gained ten men’.
