Nowhere to run: Astonishing footage shows Russian soldier trying to flee Ukrainian drone and even managing to CATCH it before dropping it on the ground… setting off fatal detonation
Shocking aerial footage shows the moment a Russian soldier is blown up by a Ukrainian drone loaded with explosives after he manages to capture the drone.
The footage shows the Putin fighter desperately running for his life as he is chased by the UAV.
At one point he catches the flying bomb and runs on – with the bomb in his hand.
But then, when his energy runs out, he slows down and drops it.
The drone immediately explodes in a bright flash, leaving its body lying in the middle of the road.
According to some reports, the FPV operator blew up the drone while the soldier was carrying it.
But at a later stage in the footage, the man is seen dropping the drone, causing it to explode.

The shocking incident was also filmed by the drone itself, showing the moment the soldier captures the UAV.
“These images, captured by the drone’s camera, show the soldier first trying to avoid the drone and flee, before finally catching it,” the Kyiv Post reported.
‘The video then captures the drone explosion, ending with the soldier lying motionless in the road.’
According to an unconfirmed report from the Haberler news portal, the incident took place in the Kursk region of Russia.
“The advance of the Ukrainian army in Kursk has ignited fighting on the front and the images broadcast from that area once again showed the merciless face of the war,” the report said.
‘A Russian soldier following the Ukrainian army caught his drone and ran, but the explosion killed him within seconds.’

This comes after Russian drones violated the airspace of two NATO countries yesterday during an airstrike on Ukraine.
A drone flew into Romanian territory early Sunday morning as Moscow attacked “civilian targets and port infrastructure” across the Danube River in Ukraine, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense reported.
Preliminary data indicates there may be an “impact zone” in an uninhabited area near the Romanian village of Periprava, near the Ukrainian border, the ministry said, adding that an investigation was underway.
Meanwhile, Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds reported that a Russian drone had crashed near the city of Rezekne a day earlier and likely entered Latvia from neighboring Belarus, a close ally of the Kremlin.
Since the reported invasion of Romanian airspace, Romania has called on Moscow to stop what it calls an escalation. The situation comes as tensions between Vladimir Putin and the West threaten to spiral out of control.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, two civilians were killed and four others, including two children, were wounded in a nighttime Russian airstrike on the northern city of Sumy, the regional military administration said.
Two elderly women were killed in shelling in the eastern region of Kharkov on Saturday night, local governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
