A foot fetishist who sucked a drunken guest’s toe on a £230-a-night superyacht faces jail for attacking four women.
In March 2022, 45-year-old Egyptian hotel worker Ahmed Fahmy attacked one of the women in her room aboard the unique Sunborn Yacht Hotel in London’s Docklands.
Fahmy began his chain of abuse when he assaulted a woman at an address in Wembley, north-west London, in 2008, Harrow Crown Court was told.
Public prosecutor Soma Varapu said: ‘He massaged her feet, grabbed her and tried to kiss her.’
Fahmy attacked a second woman at the four-star Sunborn Yacht Hotel on March 31, 2022.
Ahmed Fahmy denied the charges but was convicted by a jury at Harrow Crown Court, sitting at Hendon Magistrates’ Court, of one count of rape and three counts of sexual abuse, for offences committed between 2008 and 2024.

In January 2024, Fahmy targeted four young tourists at the Anchor Guest Hotel in Golders Green.
When three women returned to the hotel in the early morning of January 20 without their room keys, Fahmy demanded that one of them withdraw £80 from a nearby ATM for another room.
When she complied with her request, Fahmy put her in a separate room, where she fell asleep. However, she was woken up twice by Fahmy licking and sucking her toes.
Later that night, the fourth tourist returned and told Fahmy that she had lost her room key.
Fahmy led her to his bedroom and raped her.
The group moved to another hotel and contacted the police. Fahmy was arrested that same day.
In January 2024, Fahmy targeted four young tourists at the Anchor Guest Hotel in Golders Green. When three women returned to the hotel in the early hours of 20 January without their room keys, Fahmy demanded that one of them withdraw £80 from a nearby cash machine for another room.
Fahmy, from Hampstead in north-west London, denied the charges but was convicted by a jury at Harrow Crown Court, sitting at Hendon Magistrates’ Court, of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault, for offences committed between 2008 and 2024.
He was remanded in custody pending a verdict on September 20.
Detective James Gomm, who led the investigation, warned that Fahmy may have had many more victims.
He said: ‘Fahmy displayed a clear pattern of criminal behaviour, abusing his position as a hotel worker to get close to his victims and commit his crimes.
‘I would like to commend all victims and survivors for the courage they have shown during this investigation.
Some of the crimes in this case occurred several years ago and some victim-survivors felt more able to support the investigation now that more time had passed since their initial reports.
‘I do not underestimate for a moment the impact that reliving what happened has on the victims and I would like to thank them for their support of this investigation.
“Your courage helped put a sex offender behind bars and protect other women.
“There may be more victims of Fahmy. If so, I would urge them to contact the police immediately. They will be listened to and supported.”
