Mike Tindall revealed how his youngest daughter Lena plays rugby for their local team during an appearance on The One Show.
The former England Rugby Pro, 44, who is married to the Queen’s eldest granddaughter, Zara Tindall, said his four-year-old has joined a local team for children under six.
But Mike, who previously spoke of how his eldest daughter Mia, eight, plays rugby for the same team, said: ‘It’s always hard during the winter when it’s cold to get them out the door.’
He added, “I noticed with the girls that the battle of still getting muddy is still a battle. Once they’re there, it’s good.’
Mike is a former rugby union international who also played out of center for Bath and Gloucester, having also won 75 caps for England between 2000 and 2011.

And after host Alex Jones joked it was the same with boys, Mike said: ‘We’ll sort it out with Lucas, I think he’ll have no problem getting muddy. He likes to throw himself around. But we’ll see!’
Mike appeared on the show and explained that both his girls play rugby and say they are in a weekly league.
He said, ‘Lena just joined because she’s only four, she’s doing under six.
“In the winter it’s always hard to get them out the door when it’s cold. They love it when they get there, but every rugby parent knows that struggle.
“I noticed with the girls that the battle of still getting muddy is still a battle. Once they’re there, it’s good.’
Mike previously revealed how his eldest daughter Mia started playing rugby last year.
Speaking on an episode of his podcast, The good, the bad and the rugby last year he said, “It’s always hard to get Mia to do that, she says ‘I don’t like it’ and then you get there and she’s gone.”
Speaking on the podcast, Mike explained, “Mia scored a pair… it was a thriller of eight in the first game and then a thriller of nine in the second.”
Speaking of his daughter’s involvement in tag rugby, Mike later added: It’s funny how much she’s changed this year since they got back.
‘[She’s] figuring out how to avoid people because before they would all be really packed together.

Mike revealed that he thinks his son Lucas ‘loves throwing himself around’ adding that he ‘will have no problem getting muddy’
“Now they get more where they meet, but then they all step back and people just fall around.”
And the Tindall kids aren’t the only royals currently playing rugby.
Earlier this year, the Princess of Wales revealed that her youngest son Louis is ‘rugby mad’ while visiting England’s wheelchair rugby league team to celebrate their World Cup title.
When she told the team that she and the family watched the final on TV, the mother-of-three said the family loved competing against each other – especially siblings Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The princess, 41, said: ‘We are always a bit competitive with each other. They all like sports and Louis loves rugby.
“They’re at an age where they love to run around.”
And last year Prince George revealed that he is learning to play rugby at school.

The little royal, who is the same age as Mia, said he has yet to brutalize his mum and told Kate: ‘I haven’t tackled you yet’ after joining his parents at the Six Nations match between England and Wales at Twickenham Stadium. .
The eight-year-old royal was spotted in the stands between Prince William and Kate, who were in direct competition for what was Kate’s first match since becoming a patron of the Rugby Football Union.
When asked if George would support his mother’s or father’s team, the young prince shrugged and smiled at William, who laughed: “It’s become quite a thing in the house,” pointing to his wife, adding: ” She’s looking forward to it, I’m trying to stay out of it.’
Kate then asked George to tell the group how he started playing rugby at his school: “He’s got all the equipment,” she said.
George shared how he’s just started tackling before turning to his mother, “But I haven’t tackled you yet!”
Kate replied with a laugh, “Yes, you have!”
