Floyd Mayweather walks out to the ring with NBA star Anthony Davis for John Gotti III showdown in Mexico

Floyd Mayweather was joined by NBA superstar Anthony Davis as he walked to the ring before fighting John Gotti III in Mexico.

Davis was seen walking with Mayweather’s entourage on Saturday night as “The Best Ever” received a warm reception from the raucous crowd. He wore a flashy Mexican poncho with “TBE” emblazoned on it.

Davis also stepped into the ring with “Money” before the start of the highly anticipated match, entering the building with Lakers teammate Jarred Vanderbilt.

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was rumored to be in attendance, but he was not seen entering the ring with Mayweather.

Despite all the speculation leading up to the game, it is unclear whether the shooting guard was actually present at the event.

Davis wore a relaxed fit, with a white and blue short-sleeved shirt and black skinny jeans. Vanderbilt also kept it casual with a sleeveless red T-shirt and baggy black pants with a baseball cap.

Justin Bieber, Lil’ Wayne and Snoop Dogg have previously entered the ring with Mayweather.

Mayweather (50-0) and Gotti III, an MMA fighter turned boxer, fought last June, but the bout was called off in the sixth round due to chaos outside the ring.

Davis is the first two basketball stars to join Mayweather. He and Edwards were part of Team USA Basketball’s quest for a gold medal at the Paris Olympics earlier this summer.

Bieber was by TBE’s side before his fight with Canelo Alvarez in 2013.

In 2015, Lil’ Wayne split with Mayweather.

However, Snoop was the first to claim the rights in 2007.
