Florida woman set 100-pound Rottweiler on boyfriend’s nine-year-old daughter

A Florida woman has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder after allegedly unleashing a 100-pound Rottweiler on her boyfriend’s 9-year-old daughter, beating her. The girl died from her horrific injuries.

Tyshael Elise Martin, 34, was seen on the family’s security cameras on June 15 commanding the 100-pound dog to attack Jamaria Sessions. Vos51 reported.

Martin was arrested Wednesday around 6 p.m. near her home in Montverde, Florida. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said she is facing charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and child neglect.

Police launched an investigation on June 17 after receiving a 911 call that Jamaria was unresponsive at her home on Harbar Oaks Drive.

Doctors arrived on the scene and found the girl with abrasions, bruises, burns and suspected bite marks.

Detectives searched the family’s security cameras and found shocking footage from the night of June 15.

The dog was seen brutally attacking Jamaria, while Martin held the dog’s leash and appeared to direct the attack.

According to detectives who viewed the footage, Martin also repeatedly kicked the girl as she lay motionless on the ground.

She also dragged Jamaria’s unconscious body across the ground, then hit and shook her, possibly saying, “I’m going to kill her,” authorities said.

Investigators also discovered through interviews and text messages that the child was regularly subjected to horrific punishments, including being forced to sit against a wall for long periods of time, running on the spot with his arms in the air, and being hit with objects, kicked and punched.
