A Florida woman was rescued from a storm drain for the third time in two years, once she was pulled out naked after being missing for two months.
Lyndsey Jane Kennedy was reportedly distraught when a witness found her swimming in a canal near Delray Beach last week. She seemed to need no help as she ignored the police upon her arrival and fled down the storm drain.
Firefighters were able to grab Kennedy on both sides of the drainpipe and pull her out with the help of a harness and ladder. She was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
Kennedy has a history of disappearing into storm drains and once told her mother that she was taking a “trip” inspired by the biblical prophet Elijah before escaping underground.
