A Florida woman tried to avoid arrest by jumping into the ocean after she was caught having sex on a popular pier on Memorial Day.
Allyssia Razo, 20, and Zadok Westfield, 23, had sexual intercourse on the Naples pier on Monday, according to police.
Police received multiple calls reporting that the two were intimate behind a locked gate with visible “no trespassing” signs.
Naples Police Officer Matthew Blomquist responded to the scene and began arresting the couple when Razo jumped into the Gulf of Mexico.
‘I gave her orders [Razo] not to jump off the pier, but she did, in an attempt to avoid me, and began swimming northeast toward the beach,” the police report said.

Her attempt to escape failed and she was caught by beach patrol as she left the water in the area of Board Ave S Beach End.
Westfield remained on the pier and told police that he and Razo swam to the end of the pier and climbed to the top to jump off, but ended up having sex.
The officer said he found the pair in a standing position.
He described them both as “looking disheveled”, adding that Westfield was completely naked.
A witness told police she was on the beach near the pier with her children and her friends’ children, ages 7, 11, 12 and 15, when they watched the pier and the couple in the act.

Only a 100-foot section of the popular sightseeing pier is open to the public due to damage from Hurricane Ian.
Both have been charged with trespassing and breach of the peace, while Razo also resisted an officer without violence.
Westfield and Razo posted bond Monday and their trial is scheduled for June 19.
