Florida newlyweds killed just one week after their wedding as man fatally shoots nurse and pastor at the West Palm Beach home with their three children inside

A Florida man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of newlyweds who were found shot to death in their home near West Palm Beach on Saturday morning.

Sony Josaphat, 46, who lives in a home on the same block where the couple was killed, has been arrested and is currently being held without bond at the Palm Beach County Jail.

The couple who were killed died from their gunshot wounds and have not yet been publicly identified. They had tied the knot just a week earlier.

The 45-year-old woman who was killed was originally from Haiti and worked as a nurse, while her husband, who was also from the Caribbean country, served as a local pastor.

A woman who was outside the home where the couple was killed claimed to be the murder victim's sister.

Officials have not said whether the shooting took place indoors or outdoors.
