Grim video shows Florida man shoot his neighbor dead to stop him from running him over
Newly released footage shows the moment a neighborly dispute escalated into a shootout that led to the death of a man in Volusia County, Florida.
Marcus Blicker, 47, was fatally shot by his neighbor after he crashed his truck into two people — one of whom was the gunman’s 16-year-old son. Fox35 reported..
Deputies found Blicker in the driver’s seat of his pickup, and the gunman and his son arrived on the scene on Oct. 26.
Officials believe the deceased began following his truck and erratically swerved toward two vehicles driven by the gunman’s son and his friend after they drove past his home.
The scared teen called his father and alerted him to the situation while he was on his way home.

Officials believe the deceased began following his truck and erratically swerved toward two vehicles driven by the gunman’s son and his friend after they drove past his home.
As he began to drive up, Blicker followed the boys and began yelling and threatening them.
The neighbor then came out of the house with a gun in his hand and told Blicker to leave. He also fired warning shots into the air.
Although it briefly appeared as if the enraged man was backing up his truck, he instead accelerated toward the father and another person standing nearby.
“The father fired several shots at the truck as it drove toward them, and the truck came to rest in the front yard,” officials said in a statement. press release.
A Rottweiler in Blicker’s truck was injured in the shooting but is expected to recover.

His eldest daughter, Baylee Hope, also posted a tribute to him on Facebook
‘My beautiful angel. I will never be okay with this, it will never get easier. You were my soul, my best, my protector and now I’m living the rest of this life without a big part of my heart just when we were getting along and that’s so unfair. Our little girl without her father,” she wrote on Facebook after.
‘Your soul was too beautiful for this earth. And now you can live in peace,” she added.
“Paint me a beautiful life from heaven and I’ll see you when I get there,” she continued.
So does his eldest daughter, Baylee Hope wrote that she was ‘your little buddy forever’.
“I haven’t had time to process that you’re gone,” she wrote.
“For those who don’t know my name is tattooed on his back,” she added. “I always thought it was the coolest thing, but he was so eager to get it touched up and fixed that we just talked about it. I have so many memories I want to share.”

‘My biggest regret will always be that I am no longer here. During the conversation we had, you were so excited to share your new projects with me. You always told me how proud you were of me.
“Your last words were, ‘I love you, friend, I’ll see you soon.’ You were so excited to hold your granddaughter and I’m so sorry I didn’t get there sooner. I love you, daddy, forever and ever.”

“It is with a heavy heart that I inform everyone that the shooting in my neighborhood this weekend has indeed affected my family,” Mariah wrote.
“Unfortunately, my mother’s fiancée, and the father of my five, your old sister, were murdered on Saturday evening.
‘He left behind a family of six, and a granddaughter who he was supposed to meet this week but never got the chance to.
“We are all now facing unexpected costs such as a funeral service, cremation, loss of a vehicle, ongoing vet bills running into many thousands of dollars because this man also shot our dog in the neck with a gun while she was in the hospital . the passenger seat of the vehicle.
“on top of the costs because my mother is now a single mother of five with no financial support,” she wrote.
As of now, the crowdfunding page has raised $4,295 toward its $7,500 goal.
