Garcia and another man allegedly stole about 60 Hermes Birkin bags worth an estimated $1.8 million from a luxury hotel store

The burglary took place around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning at the luxury Setai hotel in Miami Beach

The bags can be resold individually for $20,000-$35,000, although rarer models can cost much, much more

Garcia allegedly made a full confession to officers and ended up in jail

Apparently the place had also been looted.

Security camera footage showed a man getting out of a large van and walking to the entrance before breaking the lock and returning to the van.

Another man then exited the van and approached the store carrying a large gray garbage bin. The first man then returned with another container.

The men were then seen on camera running away with the bins filled to the brim with wallets – each worth tens of thousands of dollars.

The men fled the scene in two separate vehicles, one of which was stolen and the other related to a burglary earlier this month on the other side of the state.

The security manager at the luxury hotel told officers that the two men had stolen approximately 60 Hermes Birkins, worth more than $1.8 million.

The bags cost approximately $10,000 and resell for $20,000-$35,000 each, depending on condition, leather and color combinations. Models made from exotic skins can sell for much, much more.

Officers tracked down the second vehicle, which led them to Garcia later on Tuesday.

The man reportedly made a full confession and was sent to prison.

It is not clear whether the second suspect has been arrested.
