A Florida man has been arrested after he was caught on camera allegedly dragging a French bulldog mix behind his pickup truck that a relative had entrusted to him to look after.
Lisandro Arellano, 45, faces two animal cruelty charges and was released Monday on $3,000 bail, according to prison records.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that the dog, named Blanco, was dragged from a moving truck earlier this month.
They shared a heartbreaking image of the pet being pulled behind the rear wheel of Arellano’s truck in Atlantis, and the injuries it sustained to its legs and abdomen.
