Former college football icon Tim Tebow’s sex life—or lack thereof—was the subject of serious locker room intrigue during his Florida Gators days.

Tebow enjoyed a stellar career with the Gators, collecting a host of accolades during his four-year stay in Florida, including the Heisman Trophy in 2007.

But not only was the quarterback a devoted athlete on the field, he also maintained his faith off it as a devout Christian.

In the upcoming Netflix docu-series “Untold: Swamp Kings” – which takes a look back at the 2000s Florida Gators team – Tebow’s former teammates recall the fascination surrounding his sex life after he revealed he was, in fact, a virgin.

In the docu-series, former Gators linebacker Brandon Spikes said he would often test Tebow to confirm if he was serious about saving himself for marriage by showing him naked pictures of women.

“I just wanted to see if he was real,” said Spikes, who won two national championships with Tebow in the 2006 and 2008 seasons. “So I’d like to, you know, maybe have a picture, a nude on my phone or something and show it to him, just to see how he’d react.

“He was like, ‘Come on man! Like you’re really making a man uncomfortable!’ And I was like, “Oh, he’s serious.”‘

Linebacker Ryan Stamper, another member of both title-winning teams, explained how Tebow’s revelation generated a lot of outside interest after he was bombarded with questions about it.

“I was constantly answering questions about Tebow, ‘Hey, like Is he really a virgin?’ or “Is he really that perfect?” or “Does he really eat and sleep football?” Stamper said. “I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s who he is.'”

Tebow opened up about his decision to remain a virgin until marriage after unapologetically professing his faith ahead of the 2009 season with Florida.

When asked by a reporter if the rumors were true, Tebow laughed and said, “Yes, I am.”

He eventually married Miss Universe 2017 and South African model Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in 2020, who he is still with today.

After a failed NFL career, the quarterback tried his hand at pro baseball with the Mets

Tebow, whom former teammates describe as the perfect role model on and off the field, fell short of his college years promise after making the switch to the NFL in 2010.

After brief stints with the Denver Broncos and New York Jets, the Philippines-born star was used only in the off-season or as an exhibition team member by the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars before being released by the latter in 2021.

He’s also dabbled in professional baseball in recent years, signing a minor league baseball contract with the New York Mets in 2016 and playing outfield for the organization for five years.

“Tebow was clean cut, no tattoos; America likes that,” Spikes added. “It’s a feel-good story.
