  • Animal came back and brought the drinks included in the order
  • The family wondered where the $45 order had gone

This is the moment a Florida family was left stunned after a bear swiped their Taco Bell delivery off their porch.

Laidy Guiterrez and Daniel Bula had ordered $45 worth of food from their Longwood home Friday evening via Uber Eats.

The bear had other ideas and grabbed the bag of food immediately after it was delivered by a delivery person.

The animal was captured on surveillance footage from home he grabs the brown bag of food with his mouth and returns shortly after to collect the drinks.

By the time the family went to pick up their food, it was gone. Uber Eats allegedly reimbursed the family for their stolen meal.

The video shows the delivery person arriving at the house and dropping off a brown bag and tray of drinks at the front door.

After placing the order on the floor, she quickly takes a photo of it before leaving.

Soon, a 300- to 400-pound black bear strolls onto the property and approaches the front door.

The bear then bends over, quickly grabs the bag by its teeth and walks away leisurely.

That’s when Guiterrez and her daughter went to open the door just ten minutes later and saw an empty porch.

“The bear took the food,” Guiterrez said.

Nicole Castro, Guiterrez’s niece, said the bear then came back and grabbed the soda.

This isn’t the first time a bear has appeared on the family’s property, as Guiterrez said the animals are regulars in the area.

In a video taken several days earlier, a similar black bear stood in their yard while someone captured it on video.

‘Unbelievable. It’s really big,” the man said in the video as the bear looked at the camera.

The presence of black bears is common in the Sunshine State as they are known to live in the state’s flat forests, swamps, thickets and hammocks.

The number of human-bear encounters has increased in recent years as both populations have grown since the 1980s, according to the Florida Wildlife Federation.

The bears are protected by the Bear Conservation Rule, which makes it illegal to hunt, capture, shoot, wound or collect black bears.
